Fieldworks: Dualist Inquiry & Krishna Jhaveri Launch Training Platform For Music Production, Digital Media & More
3 April 2026
Prominent indie electronica artist Sahej Bakshi aka Dualist Inquiry and session musician, mix engineer and sound artist Krishna Jhaveri, in partnership with engineer-turned educator as well as Maker's Asylum-founder Vaibhav Chhabra, have just launched the platform 'Fieldworks'.
The education platform focuses on digital arts, recognising the multiple skillsets needed to be a creative in the modern day, as it provides training in everything from music production and critical listening to storytelling and filmmaking. For that, it provides training in software like Ableton Live, Bandlab and DaVinci Resolve through mentors that include musicians Sanaya Ardeshir aka Sandunes, Zainab Wani aka Zequenx, Shantam, Pia Brar aka Pia Collada, alongside Sahej and Krishna; in addition to filmmaker Krish Makhija and graphic designer Darren DSouza – making Fieldworks an artist-led platform.
Fieldworks' most extensive learning pathway would be its 'Creative Immersion' program which will provide twice-a-week online sessions for 3 months with 4 learners in a group alongside private weekly check-ins before the learners converge for a 7-day residency at Fieldworks' Goa-based studio to complete individual creative projects.
Additionally, Fieldworks will also be hosting online seminars. Upcoming ones include Dualist Inquiry discussing 'Stepping Onto Your Creative Path' on April 9, Krishna Jhaveri talking about 'Navigating the Freelance Landscape' on April 16 and Sanaya Ardeshir aka Sandunes divulging her learnings on 'Creative consistency - building your foundation and overcoming creative blocks' on April 23. As of now, all online seminars are free to attend.
Fieldworks also plans to host in-person pop-up workshops and meet-ups in major cities across India, currently inviting registration of interest.
For the 'Creative Immersion' program, the registration deadline is April 10, with the first cohort starting on May 1 and ending with a residency between July 6 - 12.
