Jazz Weekender Announces Allysha Joy, oreglo, Dhanji, RANJ x Clifr & More For 2025 Edition
10 September 2025
New Delhi's boutique live music festival, Jazz Weekender, has just announced the lineup for its 2025 edition, marking the 4th outing for the event on October 11-12.
Returning to Mehrauli's 1AQ, where the venue's Banyan tree canopy has provided the setting to more than 3000 attendees each year at the annual gathering, Jazz Weekender will host Melbourne singer-songwriter and 30/70 frontwoman Allysha Joy, who will be accompanied by an all-Indian band to blend R&B and jazz. Ahmedabad's meteorically rising desi hip-hop artist Dhanji will also perform at the event with a 13-piece live band, while Bangalore's Derek & The Cats will bring their jazz and jazz-rock energy.
Tokyo-based US-rooted artist Mark de Clive-Lowe, known for blending broken beat with jazz improvisation, will bring his Live Remix set to the festival. French quartet Marthe will perform their mix of jazz, rock, jungle and Greek-Middle Eastern melodies. Also included on the lineup are India's prominent hip-hop, pop and R&B acts Meba Ofilia and RANJ x Clifr, joined by London's grime-meets-jazz prodigies oreglo, Goa's Latin rhythms experts Sambucáda, and US-German act Sera Kalo, who will bring her Berlin band for a fusion of jazz, soul and atmospheric electronica.
Hosted by boxout.fm, Gatecrash, Jazz In India and Wild City, Jazz Weekender defines itself by bringing together the performances into a holistic experience as it uses 1AQ's sunlit grounds and, later, the canopy under the moon to create a bustling yet intimate gathering which will also feature special cocktail experiences, handpicked food pop-ups and a flea market.
