Global Music Institute Announces Workshop Series

In anticipation of launching its Noida campus in 2017, the Global Music Institute (GMI) has announced a series of workshops, called In Conversation and Sonic Exploration in New Delhi. We’re happy to be a part of the project as well.

GMI’s goal with the workshops is to provide the chance for young musicians to meet, interact with and learn from artists from varying stylistic and cultural backgrounds in a casual environment and setting that goes beyond the four walls of the classroom.

The team has announced three in-depth workshops so far. The first – a guitar workshop - will take place on 6 November at the Piano Man Jazz Club with Sanjay Divecha & Aditya Balani. Tarun Balani & Jivraj Singh will be covering percussion up next on 13 November at the same venue, and vocals with Vasundhara Vee and other artists yet to be announced at Depot29 on 27 November.
