NATE08 & Mary Ann Collaborate On 'You're The Reason', A Deep House Tune With A Tinge Of Afro-Cuban

Mumbai-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Nathan Thomas aka NATE08 and Kerala-rooted singer-songwriter Mary Ann have collaborated on the former's new single 'You're The Reason'.

A letter to a former romantic partner, the single carries the subdued soulful textures from the pair's background in R&B before pairing it with the rhythmic low-end of deep house and afro-cuban snare patterns. With a self-assured sound blending multiple styles – a feat NATE08 perfected with his collaboration-heavy 2022 album 'Furaha' – the tightly-crafted song comes at the heel of a gradual but notable rise in listenership for both the artists, perfectly timed as a new offering for the fresh following they have accrued.
