TC/Inspire - Three Stories of Creative Disruption

30 July 2014

Prepare to be inspired.

This Thursday (31 July 2014) will see some of the brightest entrepreneurial and innovative minds in the city share their stories of success and “creative disruption” at the TC/Inspire session, taking place at The Social Hauz Khas.

TC/Inspire is one of the initiatives undertaken by The Coalition – the brainchild of start-up Only Much Louder and Do One Thing that aims to give entrepreneurs access to the fundamental tools needed to turn creative passions into profitable, successful businesses. The coming session will include discussions by members of 3 prominent organisations from different industries.

Mia Morikawa and Himanshu Shani are the masterminds behind 11.11 – a pret label of parent company CellDSGN that has in the past few years cemented its roots within the luxury world. 11.11 lays emphasis on creating garments that are ethically produced and sustains local traditions such as vegetable dying and block printing.

Based out of New Delhi, 3D printing service Solidry is one of the first of its kind and was launched last year. The 3D printing marketplace and community allows designers to bring their ideas to life by giving the power of customising products. Two of the three co-founders - Shantanu Raghav and Shirsendu “Troy” Karmakar will be joining in at The Social this Thursday to recount their stories.

Deepak Goel of digital marketing company, Drizzlin media will be the final speaker at TC/Inspire. His brainchild, Drizzlin aims to ‘humanise brands’ and focus on online consumer feedback and insights as well as user engagement.

TC/Inspire will be followed by drinks, conversation and a DJ set by Mumbai based Norcotiq which we suggest you attend. It doesn’t end there. The Coalition with Little Black Book Delhi are also holding the ‘Creative Pow Wow’ in Delhi on Friday 8 August where they plan to bring some of the most interesting innovative minds in Delhi under one roof. The work day will involve interaction and conversation between a creative community of entrepreneurs, professionals and freelancers in Delhi and will, of course, take place at The Social.

Both events are absolute musts for any young entrepreneurs in Delhi who’ve just started out, are looking to be inspired and want to learn from the best.
