Winners For Vh1 Sound Nation Awards Announced

The Indian music industry is fast growing and evolving into a multi-dimensional form of expression. Through the last few years, a shift in the general landscape has been apparent with many new acts, events and festivals popping up all over the country. VH1 decided to pay homage to the artists who have made this possible by hosting their very own awards ceremony.

100 Pipers VH1 Sound Nation, a multi-genre and multi-city festival that hosted 28 artists in 6 cities, began on 2 May and culminated at the ‘VH1 Sound Nation Awards’. The event took place on 11 May 2014 at Hard Rock Café, Worli with a line up that included Indian veterans Indus Creed, MIDIval Punditz, indie-pop sensation - Your Chin and nu-disco, electro-funk duo - Madboy/Mink.
