TLR Celebrates 4 Years

9 November 2012

New Delhi’s TLR is an institution, one of the few venues in the capital that has aged supremely, evolving with its rapidly changing surroundings. An anchor within the live music scene and notorious for its wild Disco 31 parties it is Delhi’s sanctuary, the fail safe place on any given night of the week.

Despite the fickle nature of Delhiites TLR has stood strong over the years and this weekend celebrates its 4th anniversary. To mark the occasion they have launched a spanking new website and have a weekend of music treats.

Tonight (Friday 9 November) sees India’s first reggae sound system the Reggae Rajah’s joined by Balkan’s Hi Fi. Hailing from former Yugoslavia they have a unique approach to sub genres of reggae and bass music and will be showcasing a solid dose of jungle, reggae, rocksteady and dubstep.

Saturday night will see TLR celebrate with an anniversary party like no other. Selectors on the night include venue regulars Hashback Hashish, Flash Hardcor, Moniker (Wild City DJ) and of course Su-Real. This one's probably going to get pretty wild. Did we mention it's 1+1 on selected domestic drinks all night? Well, there's that too.
