Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, the monkey-loving genre-defying German duo, Modeselektor cleared some time last week to answer of few of our questions. Well, 5 minutes exactly.

Heading over to India for the very first Red Bull Music Academy initiative in the country, they're a name that have become synonymous with electronic music over the years. We're not even sure how we got the time. But we did.

What’s in your pockets?

At the moment, my hands.

10 minutes ago, in my car on a shitty mono radio; the radio station played: Motorhead “Ace Of Spades.”

Small cappuccino.

Last good gig you saw?

“Björk” live this summer in Berlin.

Last bad gig?

I don't go to bad gigs.

Which song do you currently have constantly on repeat?

Oneohtrix Point Never.

If you weren’t making music what do you think you’d be doing?

Sort out all my clothes I don´t need anymore and counting my “jumpsuit collection.”

What’s the thing that you love most about your job?

Music.

What do you hate most about working in this industry?

Life in between dreams.

If you could teleport yourself to any place and time where would it be and
when?

I think it would be interesting to beam just for 30 seconds back in time to the 14th or 15th century. It must be horrible!

Which colour do you identify with most?

Grey.

Best gift from a fan?

In Mexico, I got a pink skirt.

Cinematic, painful and exhausting.
