Chris Brown & Drake Offered $1 Million To Settle Grudge In Boxing Ring

27 June 2012

Details have recently emerged of Chris Brown and Drake both being offered $1 million each to fight in a celebrity boxing match.

Headlines suggested that the pair had been involved in a nightclub brawl earlier this month, after it was alleged that upon discovering they were in the same club, Brown sent a bottle over to Drake's table. Unconfirmed reports state that the bottle was returned with a note reading, "I'm fucking the love of your life, deal with it" (Rihanna - Brown's ex-girlfriend who Drake also had a short relationship with).

The gesture is then thought to have angered Chris and resulted in him confronting Drake, who allegedly threw a punch at his rival, leading to a brawl breaking out between both rappers and their entourage.

Though no arrests have yet been made over the brawl, the feud is still thought to be ongoing and celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman has revealed that billionaire digital media entrepreneur Alki David has shown interest in staging a fight between the pair, ideally in Vegas this August. He has reportedly offered the pair $1 million each and promises to give a further $1 million to charity.

Speaking to New York Daily News, Feldman spoke about his hopes for the fight: "Obviously they have a grudge. It's just three one-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt."

As a result of the brawl, the club in New York's SoHo district, is now in danger of being shut down with 14 different code violations. A thrown bottle nearly took out the eye of NBA star Tony Parker who is still recovering in Paris. The basketball player's hope of representing France in the London 2012 Olympics is now in doubt and he is suing the nightclub for $20 million, claiming it should never have let Rihanna's exes in at the same time.

“I would love to have Rihanna as the ring girl,” Feldman told The News Monday.
