India's First Hip-Hop Portal Goes Live

10 February 2012

Zomba.in, India’s first comprehensive online platform dedicated entirely to hip-hop culture, is after months of preparation, finally live.

An open unbiased portal for the community of music fans, Zomba.in aims to bring together the developing yet segregated hip-hop community through its online platform which shall be a home for all aspects of hip-hop; MC's, producers, DJ's, bands, Bboys/Bgirls and other forms of urban arts including graffiti and fashion. Headed by Bob Omulo, founder of bombayhiphop.com, and front-man of Mumbai based band Bombay Bassment, the website’s editorial team will also aim to highlight the nations emerging hip-hop culture through exclusive news, features, reviews, and event listings.

Although currently in Beta mode, the developers promise a number of new features to be rolled out within the next couple of months, including a member’s area where users can create a profile, upload their work and showcase it to the online community.
