MusicMouth For The Education Of Children
I'm Still Thinking Events presents the first ever MusicMouth for the Education of Children, a two week campaign aiming to collect notebooks and stationary to support the education of over 1000 children in Bangalore. Powered by IDEA and Classmate.
MusicMouth is a series of concerts that break the silence with music and gives pertinent issues a voice. It's main objective is to use music as a tool of expression, social change and most importantly, a space for people to come together and be an active part of the society in which they live.
740 govt schools have been shut down in the past three years due to lack of attendance. While there are many reasons for the student's low attendance, one very simple reason is that they cannot afford stationery.
The concert will take place at Kyra Theatre on August 13 from 6 pm onwards in support of the cause.
The entry for the concert is 30 notebooks per head
The lineup features performances by: Something Relevant, Mad Orange Fireworks and Anup & Kenny
