Listen: ‘OK Dance’ By Bombay Bassment

10 May 2017

Bombay Bassment, the three-piece reggae act, have released a 5-track EP called ‘OK, Dance’.

The project is packed with infectious rhymes and rhythms; the mood remaining energetic throughout. The Mumbai-based group may veer towards pop but they allow their authentic reggae sound to come through on tracks like 'Miss Goody' and 'Put 'Em Up' - songs that could as easily be found on a dusty vinyl from the '80s.

The band currently consists of Bobkat (Robert Omulo, MC), Ruell (Ruell Barretto, bass) and MajorC (Chandrashekhar Kunder, samples/percussion). They will be touring India in May and June.

The EP has been exclusively released through music streaming app, Saavn.
