RANJ x Clifr Collaborate With Dhanji On Raunchy Single '8oz. OF PUSSY JUICE'

After flipping the genders in the hip-hop trope of men boasting of lusting after women earlier this year, Bangalore-based duo RANJ x Clifr take the boldness and sexual themes one step further on new single '8oz. OF PUSSY JUICE'.

Singing about oral sex and preferring to dominate in the sexual exchange, RANJ's songwriting is as striking as the song title and not for anyone who is uncomfortable with this level of explicitness when it comes to sex. However, the song doesn't make it sultry or add erotic weight but rather breezes through its references and comparisons (which include sushi, rug and perhaps... Shia LeBeouf) so lightly that even bold songwriting like that becomes light-hearted, especially with the upbeat jazz-inflected production by Clifr and the neo-soul swagger of RANJ's performance.

Gujrat's Dhanji enters the track mid-way, with the ad-lib exchange presenting him as the submissive partner of this (sexual) duet. A big testament to his skill is how he effortlessly turns the topic romantic with his Urdu-rich colloquialisms. You'd be glad someone wrote a song about vagina and gave Dhanji the opportunity to slip in the line: "uske maykhaane ki mehak aane dena" (let the fragrance of her wine house/tavern reach me).
