DJazz Returns With House EP 'Pale Criminal'

A month after launching his new moniker DJazz and his label All That DJazz, Aditya Malve (formerly known as DIVERSION AHEAD.) returns with a house EP entitled 'Pale Criminal' to expand the discography of both.

An excursion beyond the comfortable grounds of drum 'n' bass for the Mumbai-based DJ, producer and newly label-head, the 3-track release loyally sticks to house music's classic syntax. The opening 'Sinaptic' clings to the funk and bounce of acid basslines with dramatic strings, the four-to-the-floor beat of 'The Music Just Turns Me On' is built around a sultry titular vocal sample, before 'You Make Me Feel So Good' closes with the syncopated rhythms of chord stabs. Though peppered just with a sprinkling of modern elements, the 3-track is for those who love the classic forms of the genre.
