Kim The Beloved & Reble Collaborate On 'Set It Off'

Mizoram's Zorinkima Chhunthang aka Kim the Beloved and Meghalaya's Daiaphi Lamare aka Reble collaborate on the new single 'Set It Off'.

Though another chest-thumping work in the Indian hip-hop canon that's often saturated with it, the single sets itself apart through the standout delivery by its artists and the slight addition of giving a nod to their musical heroes and their identities. Kim the Beloved offers a gnarliness, not in tone but in the personality of his delivery and penmanship while Reble might be at her strongest yet if the goal is to show her expertise in quick flow and tightness.

The very act of presenting a work that's similar to most others in Indian hip-hop content-wise while achieving a polish and energy achieved by few others in the canon while representing the hip-hop coming from Shillong and its nearby cultural spaces primes 'Set It Off' as a worthy representation of the talent coming out of the region.
