Delhi’s REProduce To Showcase Three Events in Pune This Weekend

13 September 2016

Delhi based collective and booking agency REProduce is taking their Listening Room session back to Pune along with two other streams of engagement taking place simultaneously – the REProduce Changing Room in collaboration with Korra Jeans and the REProduce Viewing Room – an installation by Delhi based photographer Nishant Shukla.

The event will take place at the incredible TIFA Working Studios, which reside in a 1910s Art Deco style hotel in the heart of Pune.

This edition of the Listening Room will feature music from Madboy (of MADBOY/MINK), the debut performance of new Mumbai act Cowboy & Sailor Man (a.k.a. Apurv Agrawal), pianist Sahil Vasudeva, Sandunes - also focussing on keys, Pulpy Shilpy (real name Gowri Jayakumar) and fellow Pune producer Big City Harmonics who’s going to be playing some new tunes live, as well as Mumbai’s FUNC. An exciting and intriguing bunch of artists – some established and a few we hadn’t heard of at all before this. The Listening Room will be open on 18 September from 4-9pm.

The Viewing Room is an installation by Delhi based photographer Nishant Shukla, who will be presenting a body of work called “Ravers & the Aftermath”. It will remain installed at TIFA Working Studios for two weeks and take a look at the counter culture of quasi-legal psytrance parties in London and Hungary.

Korra Jeans also collaborates with REProduce for their first ever Changing Room, inspired by the TIFA working space. Both the Viewing and Changing Rooms will be open on 17 and 18 September.

Donor passes are available at the door for Rs 300, and if you're in Pune we suggest you drop by. Head over to REProduce’s Facebook event and check out their page for more information and updates.
