ZERO STATE KID Joins D'n'B & Glitch On 'Core'

The energy and grip of the break that's been foundational to the genre of drum 'n' bass, in all its iterations, is enough to offer significant mileage – but that doesn't stop Sudip Mukherjee aka ZERO STATE KID from using it as a launchpad for flying into surrounding territories of bass music. The Kolkata producer introduces his latest EP 'Core' with the beat and then carries over its energy to wobbly drums underscoring strong guttural basslines and glitched out textures. Yet, it is ultimately giving in to the jubilance of the genre on 'Automation', Mukherjee's collaborative track with Confusious, which lends the 2-track release its better half.
