Listen: KAOS Releases Debut EP 'Theory'

3 March 2015

23 year old bass producer and London native Rohan Chauhan, or KAOS, has just released his debut EP ‘Theory’. The release came via Circus Records – the brainchild of Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, Simon Swan and Earl Falconer.

KAOS had a great 2014, playing at a number of major festivals in India and internationally. His latest offering kicks off the new year on a high note with some expertly produced, bass heavy tunes and beats tailored for the dance floor - a really fresh listen overall.

The ‘Theory’ EP has been heavily influenced by trap, garage and dubstep, featuring manipulated, chopped up vocal samples, vigorous beats and layered synths that have a distinctly modern sound that's also very commercially viable. Tunes like ‘Come Alive’ and ‘Indigo’, we predict, are going to be huge crowd pleasers. Of course, bass plays a huge role in the sound of ‘Theory’, particularly in its dubstep inspired dance floor banger ‘Follow Me’, which was featured on UKF (watch the video here).

English producer, DJ and Circus Records label owner Flux Pavilion had high praise for the young artist - “The second I heard KAOS, I heard talent. KAOS is a window into what electronic music can be and will be on a platform like Circus. Freedom to create is the greatest blessing we all have, KAOS has taken that and made something magical. My eyes are wide open and KAOS is what I'm looking at.”

You can listen to the ‘Theory’ EP below in its entirety. Follow KAOS and Circus Records on Facebook for updates. The EP is available to buy on iTunes.
