Details Announced For Magnetic Fields + UnBox Preparty

24 November 2014

Magnetic Fields and Unbox Festival have come together for a pre festival celebration and showcase set to take place on Friday 28 November at antiSOCIAL in Hauz Khas Village. With Magnetic Fields 2014 just 17 days away, this edition promises to be bigger and better than before with a fantastic line up (here) and round the clock activities and parties to keep everyone occupied.

Our pre-party is keeping with that bigger and better theme for the day long festival showcase. Our friends at UnBox are kicking off the festivities early with the TumharaFry special at 10am. A treat for fans of Stephen Fry, the event is an extension of the global project YouFry and brings together creative minds to reimagine his latest work in innovative ways. TumharaFry will be followed by an audio-visual installation by BLOT! that will serve as a prelude to the larger piece which will be presented at UnBox.

As the evening rolls on, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a few of the acts who will be performing at Magnetic Fields in Alsisar Mahal. We’ve assembled some of our favourite Delhi artists together for the evening – DJ and producer Gaurav Malaker will be back, playing his dance friendly goodness for the crowds. We’ve also got pcrc’s frontman and solo electronic producer and musician - Lifafa a.k.a. Suryakant Sawhney and the dreamy psychadelic sounds of Begum. DJ sets by Moniker and Grime Riot Disco’s Eng. will make sure that the party will continue, full force, till late.
