Delhi's UnBox Festival Announces Details

16 October 2014

UnBox Festival is back. The interactive, multi-discipline festival platform, founded in 2011, has become a must-visit for the veritable who’s-who of the creative and academic communities.

The primary goal of UnBox is to encourage creative thinking and collaboration across different fields, this year’s festival stays true to this ethos and will host some of the most dynamic individuals from India, and abroad. These aficionados will hail from many fields, ranging from design, art and science to social innovation, technology and business. The festival offers something for each varied member of the audience, with a diverse selection of engagements and activities to attend, including: 5 workshops, 5 panels, 4 screenings, 2 parties, 4 exhibitions, 4 masterclasses and much more.

UnBox has had a history of experimentation. Much like the previous years, the festival will once again offer interactive bars (so you can create your own cocktail!), food labs, music performances, workshop stations to print your own t-shirt, or learn to make a city map, or design a video game. Literally something for everyone.

Founded and organized by Codesign, Quicksand, Basic Love of Things (BLOT) and Blind Boys, UnBox invites you to think outside the box, drive innovation and engage all your senses. The platform eschews traditional conference formats and makes the participant an active creator, rather than a passive observer. With everything UnBox has planned for us this year we cannot help but get excited.

The 3 day festival takes place from 12-14 December, 2014 at the IGNCA in New Delhi. Visit UnBox Festival’s beautiful official website here, or follow them on Facebook for more updates.
