Bourgeoning Rotterdam-based DJ and De School resident mad miran has just announced a 3-city India tour that sees her play New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore between November 28 and December 1.
With multiple residencies and performances at festivals like Dekmantel Selectors and Primavera Sound over the past year, the rise of the young Strange Sounds from Beyond crew member has been nothing short of meteoric – seeing her evolve from a constant presence on the dancefloor to commanding it all across Europe.
“Genres are disturbing. I play vibes,” she told Electronic Beats. After years of intense raving and honing her craft in the safe space of her bedroom, away from judgements based on pre-decided standards, Miran is able to blur the lines between whatever corner of adventurous electronic music catches her fancy at the moment – as she does in her Red Light Radio show below.
