Dualist Inquiry Announces Debut LP, Album Tour & New Record Label. Stream New Single

After months of anticipation from music lovers across the country, Sahej Bakshi a.k.a Dualist Inquiry has finally announced details of his upcoming debut LP titled, 'Doppelganger'.

Due to be released on 15 March on Dualism Records, a label started by Bakshi to specifically release Indian electronica, it'll be the young stars first full-length release. With promise of a 10-city tour kicking off on the launch date, we're pretty certain this is the release that will propel Dualist Inquiry into a new realm of superstardom, one that he has been riding the cusp of, for at least the last year.

"We've been quiet for a few months, and that's only been in preparation for what's upcoming. We've got a huge 10-city tour lined up over the next month, a crazy new audio-visual rig that we're taking on tour, new merchandise, and of course, the full album for free download.

I'm also really proud to announce that I'll be releasing 'Doppelganger' on my own new record label, called Dualism Records. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. It feels like a natural step forward, allowing me to exercise complete creative and executive control over my music and how it reaches you. I want to clarify that I won't be running this like a traditional record label - all the music on the label will always be available for free download. For the time being, its just going to be my music, but eventually, I hope it serves as a hub for all the other weird, indie electronica coming out of India that doesn't fit neatly into one genre." - Dualist Inquiry

In celebration of this announcement, Bakshi this morning uploaded 'Specter', the first single from Doppelganger. Rather than a four-to-the-floor dance cut, it showcases a sound that we heard a lot of throughout the evolution of this artist over the last year. Glitch-hop kids, listen up.
