GMI & The Piano Man Jazz Club Announce Singer-Songwriter Contest 'Song Weavers'

20 February 2019

Global Music Institute and The Piano Man Jazz Club have recently announced India's first ever singer-songwriter contest 'Song Weavers'.

The contest appears to be an intriguing opportunity for singer-songwriters from across the country to showcase their skills, and stand a chance to win a bunch of prizes, which includes a performance slot at the highly touted The Piano Man Jazz Club.

Song Weavers is open to Indian nationals between the ages of 18 and 25, and invites applications from solo vocalists, as well as those opting to play an instrument, perform with a backing track, or have one musician accompanying them (not more than one).

The contest will be held on 15 March at The Piano Man Jazz Club in New Delhi. However, the deadline for registration is 4 March.
