Berlin-based collective L_Klangkunst Werk has released an extensive compilation, released in two parts, entitled 'CEASEFIRE' to address the killing of civilians in Gaza. Featuring 106 tracks from artists from 23 different countries, the compilation "is an offer and rehearsal for a world we want to see free from violence and terror - an alchemy for the grief, suffering, and atrocity of war, which right now, is particularly acute in the bombardment of Palestine", according to the collective and label.

From the Indian subcontinent, Bangalore artists Aniruddh Menon and Disco Puppet make a contribution each. The former crafts a melodic fare with sampled and pitched vocals while Disco Puppet kicks things off with chopped-up loops of native percussion on Pujocore which harkens to the latter of his last album 'Love & Everything Depressing'. Kolkata's Bios Contrast morphs and unifies into a repetitive texture, dropping a slight semblance to melodic motifs. The most explicit musical protest comes from Karachi's Catman MU who lays down heavy hip-hop and world beats behind speeches and protest cries of 'Ceasefire Now'.

The compilation donates 100% of the proceeds to supporting the distribution of dignity kits directly on the ground, to affected women and families in Gaza.
