Gauley Bhai Release New Music Video & Song 'Aunty Ko Tato Bagaicha'

Bangalore-based Kalimpong and Calicut-origin group Gauley Bhai recently dropped a much-awaited new release in the form of the track 'Aunty Ko Tato Bagaicha'.

On top of the group's dynamic blend of rock and Nepali folk with stabs of bass, drums, guitars and violin punctuating group singing, unified cries and emotive lucid violin lines, the song takes inspiration from how the river Teesta has slowly turned from blooming blue to sullen grey over the years as human infrastructures have encroached upon it from the sides. 'Aunty Ko Tato Bagaicha', which translates to 'Aunty's Warm Garden', captures it in its poetic allusions of a bee getting so mesmerised by the sedating scents and nectars of a garden that it forgets the core memory of its queen's scent.

The band's first new music since its standout 2019 album 'Joro', the track's music video stars the Teesta Troupers, a group of young talent around Teesta that Gauley Bhai mentors and helps attain platform.
