Boxout Wednesdays Comes To End After 7 Years

Nearly 7 years since it first started in March 2017, New Delhi's weekly event series Boxout Wednesdays will come to an end this February.

Started by the online community radio boxout.fm, which also ceased regular transmission in 2022, Boxout Wednesdays has been a regular and reliable fixture of New Delhi's nightlife – hosting noted stalwarts like Channel One Soundsystem, Daedulus and Flowdan to giving a platform to grassroots DJs, rappers and performers. The event series and its team have been notable for their consistency and resilience in maintaining a music-focused event space amidst the volatile and rapidly changing undercurrents of the music and nightlife industry at large.

According to the announcement, February will be the last month for Boxout Wednesdays which will see it partner with sneaker brand VegNonVeg on 7th February featuring the likes of Kayan and Dr. Psych, host a Valentine's Day special show with Lush Lata on 14 February, and host London's Debonair and Manchester-via-Ibiza artist Ruf Dug on February 21.
