B.R.E.E.D. To Play At Los Angeles’ Low End Theory

4 September 2015

It has been widely and repeatedly acknowledged that Low End Theory is one of the defining club nights in the city of angels. The weekly experimental hip-hop and electronic event takes place every Wednesday at The Airliner in Los Angeles and has built a reputation for launching the careers of some of America’s most iconic beat makers including Daedelus, The Gaslamp Killer (who is currently a permanent resident there), Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing and The Glitch Mob – an impressive repertoire by anyone’s standards.

Low End Theory next week will feature performances by Teebs, Daye Jack, Oicho and B.R.E.E.D. - a duo consisting of Tara Mae and Indian born DJ and producer Ritesh D’Souza. The act has also recently played at the Low End Theory festival and Coachella.

B.R.E.E.D. began as a solo enterprise by Ritesh D’Souza who was a prolific DJ and producer here in the motherland before shifting base to L.A. and joining forces with Tara Mae. It’s incredibly heartening to see Indian producers recognized worldwide and playing at a night of this caliber.
