Listen To The Breathtaking Debut EP From Bangalore Based 'Klypp'

3 April 2014

Klypp is the new project from (now defunct) Bicycle Days frontman Karthik Basker and fellow Bangalore based producer Faheemul Hasan, otherwise known as Avilente. The duo's debut 'Manifest' was released this morning and quite frankly, blew us away at first listen.

In a similar vein to acts such as Mount Kimbie, particularly their latest release 'Cold Spring Fault Less Youth', Manifest combines layers of lo-fi electronica and melancholic and well rounded vocals.

It's obvious from this release that their influence stretches far beyond the tiny corner of Bangalore's alternative music underground that birthed them and, with the duo now focusing on this project full time it looks set to stretch further still in the coming years. Clearly this project has transformed two bedroom-studio producers to creators of one of the most fully realised debut EP releases we've heard in a while...

Klypp's debut 'Manifest' EP can be purchased via OK Listen and heard in full via SoundCloud here.
