DJ MoCity is an award-winning DJ, promoter and co-founder of South Asia’s first online community radio - Boxout.fm. Born and raised in Baghdad and New Delhi, MoCity spent his early days as a hip-hop loving teenager in New Delhi, and has grown into a highly experienced and respected musical tastemaker who has played an instrumental role in the development of creative communities across Asia and the Middle East. The work he’s done with pioneering crews such as the Reggae Rajahs (India), the 264 Cru (Dubai) and his award-winning podcast Motellacast, is a testament to his work ethic and philosophy. A global citizen, MoCity has used his multicultural heritage to connect audiences and communities across regions.
Naezy a.k.a. Naved Shaikh is the torchbearer of the Indian hip-hop. The MC, who rhymes in Hindi and Marathi, was brought up in the chawls of Kurla, a suburb in Mumbai. Hailing from an orthodox Muslim family, Naezy chanced upon hip-hop when he heard Sean Paul's 'Temperature' playing at a wedding in his society. He soon began rehearsing and copying the styles and lyrics of artists such as Lil Wayne, Sean Paul and more. His foray into the world of hip-hop brought him to the doors of legendary MC's such as KRS-One, Public Enemy, Nas, N.W.A and more - artists that helped him discover the importance of writing one's own lyrics and the potential they had to change public discourse. He released his debut single 'Aafat' in January 2014. The song quickly went viral garnering over 2,00,000 views on YouTube.
Prabh Deep is an MC from New Delhi, India. Gifted with a unique voice that contains traces of the traditional Punjabi folk singers, Prabh has been at the forefront of Delhi's hip-hop scene. Besides being a recording artist, He also pushes for and organizes MC Battles in the city. Born and brought up in Tilak Nagar, Prabh's self-conscious music paints a vivid picture of growing up in a locality that's still reeling from the fallout of the 1984 riots, the recent influx of drugs and guns in the community and his personal accounts of dealing with losing friends and loved ones.

Since a young age, Sez has been a disciple of hip-hop culture and has revolutionised the sounds we come to associate with Indian hip-hop.
MadStarBase, made up of Ase and Neal, is a production and DJ duo who perpetually create and curate some of the freshest, most forward-thinking music. Labeled an Ambassador of “The New India”, Monica Sharma Dogra is a Maryland raised musician, daughter of Kashmiri immigrants, who grew up listening to Hindu devotional songs, ghazals, and the Bollywood hits of Lata Mangeshkar. After winning a competition at the age of 16, she debuted at Carnegie Hall and then went on to graduate from NYU’s prestigious music performance program - which catapaulted her to appear in the New York Theatre Circuit doing both plays and musicals. She then found herself in India, while recording a solo-project with Andre Bettes in New York City, the producer of Madonna’s Immaculate Collection. It was there she met her music partner Randolph Correia, and formed the band Shaa’ir + func (S+F for short). S+F has been named one of India’s favorite bands by VH1, and played at some of the biggest festivals in the world.
Ishani’s unique style typically mixes old school and new school hip-hop and has cleverly merged fans of both styles in way not seen hitherto. She has held residencies at many Mumbai nightclubs including Purple Haze Lounge and at Zenzi (Bandra), Ibar etc. while also being has been endorsed by nominations from VH1 Sound Nation Awards (2014) and MyFavDJ Awards.
Azadi Records' signee Seedhe Maut represent the next stage in the evolution of the capital’s hip-hop sound. Having mastered the art of delivering razor sharp, combative and witty rhymes, the bi-lingual duo are following in the trailblazing footsteps of international hip-hop collectives such as Run The Jewels, Clipse, Black Hippy, Mobb Deep, Blackstar and more.
Coven Code is India’s first all female collective promoting art, music, non-binary culture and freedom, based in New Delhi. Coven Code started out in March 2018 with more than 19 founding members from diverse backgrounds who came together through their common love for music, and a need to shake up the status-quo in the nightlife and the music industry.
Starting at the age of 16, Nash JR has come a long way since his early days of spinning old skool Hip-Hop on basic pioneer decks. The 23-year-old prodigy has already gained notoriety among the circle of bass heads across the national capital.
Having an ear for bass music since childhood, Nash joined Project Hip Hop in 2010 and started promoting hip hop music across Delhi. In 2012, he joined Urbanatics group and started experimenting with genres like Trap/Twerk, Miami Bass, Dancehall etc. Nash does not let the technology hinder in his path of success. Whether be it playing on analog turntables or Pioneer CDJs, Nash has got it all covered! A hardcore 808 bass lover, Nash has released a couple mixtapes where his ability to transition between various genres has earned him a massive respect among his fans and DJs alike.
RollsRoy's is a newly formed band comprising some of the best talents in the city with - Shantanu Sudarshan on drums, Kaushik Manikanandan on guitars, Pranay Parti on keys, Akshat Pradhan on bass, Krishna Vinod on vocals, Vibhor Mathur on flute, and Sumit Roy on vocals. Influenced by a love for Kendrick Lamar and satirical dry humour, their poignant performances are like a ‘nukkad naatak’ rolled into songs.
