Mohit Rao

Mohit Rao is a musician, composer and producer based in Bombay. Coming from a rock and blues background he eventually developed a deep rooted appreciation and interest in understanding the language of jazz. He proceeded to studying at Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music.
Now back in Mumbai, his focus is on working primarily on live music in the independent music circuit as well as teaching. He is a part of jazz/fusion quartet Jazztronaut, experimental electronic duo Laminus and his own solo electronic/RnB project all of which are signed on to nrtya, an indie artist management company.
