The Supersonics Embark On NH7 Roadkill Tour. Release Free EP

8 August 2012

NH7 Roadkill is a bi-monthly initiative that will see a young indie band embark upon a countrywide tour every couple of months with shows in all major cities across the country.

This new touring format will give up-and-coming bands a chance to perform back-to-back concerts at different venues across India, providing younger artists a medium to showcase their music whilst giving fans a chance to discover upcoming talent from within the Indian indie music scene.

Later today Kolkata based post-punk act The Supersonics will embark on the first NH7 Roadkill Tour. The band who reunited earlier this year is reportedly currently working on the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut LP Maby Baking and will be testing a lot of new material on this tour.

To celebrate this initiative the good people at NH7 have gone and put together a tour EP of unreleased material from The Supersonics. The EP includes a Miti Adhikari (read our interview with him here) produced remix of ‘We Are' as well as ‘Sorry For Yourself’, one of the bands earliest recordings.

You can see the list of dates for NH7 Roadkill below. For a full download of the EP that includes album artwork (as above) you can head over to NH7 where you'll need to first register.
