Sean Paul To Tour India This November

19 July 2012

Sean Paul, the Jamaican star whose 2003 Dutty Rock album brought dancehall to the charts, will be playing shows in India later this year. Always "in the club", the singer-songwriter and producer’s increasing demand and multi-faceted talent has made him a pioneer of commercial dancehall, reggae and R&B over the last decade.

Fans should expect to hear platinum smash hits such as Get Busy, Gimme The Light, I'm Still in Love With You, Like Glue, We Be Burnin, Ever Blazin, Give It Up To Me, Baby Boy, Never Gonna Be The Same and well, you get the idea.

The Indian tour is being curated and produced exclusively by Blue Note Entertainment, a company that according to their press release specialises in big ticket film promotions, exhaustive artist management, prolific corporate events and destination weddings; foraying into the concert space for the very first time.

“We are strategising on a concept based on Diwali and interestingly our stage set-up and décor will comprise of mirrors, lights and crystals, something that hasn’t yet been explored before in India. We will also be using international dancers on stage, adding a global touch and making it look like one big party as seen internationally at most concerts. We can assure you that his concerts will be mind-blowing and electric. We promise to give all his fans in India a night to remember.” - Mr. Fardeen Shirazi, Creative Head, Blue Note Entertainment

As of yet no finer details have been released. All we know is that it will be a multi city tour sometime in November. More details as they come through.

“It’s your boy Sean and you heard it straight from me - India get ready for my live show. The wait is finally over and now for the first time ever, I’m excited to bring my live show to India. I can’t wait for my fans to join me where I’ll be performing all of your favorites and some new songs from my latest album. Watch this space for more to know where all I’m performing” - Sean Paul
