M83 & Converse Team Up In Sneaker Design Contest

French musician Anthony Gonzalez and his band, otherwise known as M83 have recently teamed up with Converse/Nike to create Limited edition M83-inspired sneakers.
The pair are inviting fans to submit original works of art inspired by artwork and music from 2011's masterpiece LP Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (read our review here). Drawings, paintings, and photography can be submitted via Instagram, using the hashtag #M83Converse, or emailed to M83Contest@converse.com.
Up to 3 winners will be selected by the band and announced on 3 August. They will then go on to have their art featured on a M83 poster (100 of which will be for sale at their August show at Central Park) as well as get a free pair of the M83 kicks.
