Call For Entries: Young Creative Entrepreneur Awards

Calling all young creative entrepreneurs. The Young Creative Entrepreneur Awards awards are accepting entries until the (**UPDATE**)17 July 2012. The awards serve to champion people who find new ways to take creative work to audiences and acts as a platform for young entrepreneurs to engage and collaborate with the UK creative sectors.

This year sees a new development with the British Council running the awards in two areas: Design for Social Impact and Digital for Creative Industries. This is not only relevant to the creative sectors in India but is reflective of the interests of the UK.

The awards are open to applications from 21-40 year olds with at least three years of work experience in the relevant sector who display entrepreneurial flair and skill in their related creative industry in India.

The YCEA have been running since 2005 in the areas of design, music, fashion, screen, interactive, performing arts, visual arts, communications and publishing. Check the eligibility criteria here to see if you can apply and for more general info head here.

Winners stand to not only win the prestigious title but a working tour of the relevant creative industry in the UK alongside international peers with collaborative opportunities. The tour will be tailored to your interests and include particular interest for commercial or collaborative purposes.
