RBMA 2012 Applications Open

Calling all DJs, producers, singers, MCs, engineers, songwriters and musicians - applications are now open for Red Bull Music Academy 2012. This is a once in a life time opportunity to be guided and inspired by industry heavy weights.
"You don’t need to be able to play the violin at Grade 8 level, name all the members of the Wu-Tang backwards or know how to disassemble an SP-1200 using only a dime and a toothpick. What we are looking for is passion and for learning and sharing, enthusiasm for music across genres, and a truly global, open-minded outlook."
This year the academy will take place in New York from 30 September – 2 November 2012. Over the course of 5 weeks the musically vibrant city will come further to life with workshops, lectures, concerts, club nights and studio sessions held across all NYC boroughs.
Applications will put each and every applicant through a true test of mind, body and soul. Definitely not one for the faint hearted. Don't worry though, help is at hand with a twitter session each week from a different former student, who'll be answering any questions you may have.
