 #GenderAndTheJob: Mind The Gap Unpacks Gender

Mind The Gap is an event where artists, creatives, professionals and individuals from various fields of influence will come together to unpack the gender discourse that envelops our workspaces. It will take place on Sunday, 3 June at WeWork BKC, Mumbai.

The event will see organised panel discussions, installations and workshops themed around gender as well as performances by harpist Nush Lewis, singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari, performance artist Princess Pea, and a stand-up comedy in drag by Shyenne Pepper.

Speakers for the event include professionals from the social sector like Manna Kanuga; artists and designers Naomi Flora Davenport, Shreya Dev Dube, Skye Arundhati Thomas; sports personalities Suhail Chandhok and Ayesha Billimoria; Janaki Subramaniam from aviation, and musicians Aditi Ramesh and Komorebi amongst others.

Creative workshops on gender deconstruction and sensitisation through photography, songwriting, design and illustration are also in line for this event where, the likes of Chintan Girish Modi, Shreya Gulati, Durga Gawde and Ridhhi Parekh shall be hosting sessions on these issues.
