Mood Indigo Schedule Released

Mood Indigo is an annual cultural festival held at the Indian Institue of Technology, Bombay attracting over 75,000 students from over 500 colleges around the whole of India every year. This year is the 41st edition and it will take place between 18-21 December.

There are a variety of competitions, workshops, informal games and a range of performances by local and international artists. This year will feature a special performance on 18 December from acclaimed Australian progressive rock band Karnivool, alongside local folk heros Raghu Dixit and Norwegian electro pop act Lucy Swann to name a few. This year sees Mood Indigo going international by incorporating Mood Indigo Worldfest 2011, an international youth folkdance festival bringing together young folkdance groups from Spain, Poland, Turkey and Indonesia to showcase their countries cultural heritage.

In order to attend you need a valid college ID card and to take part in competitions, participants must register online by 17 December 2011. Please note that for some competitions registration will close on 13 December.
