Audio Guru Music Competition

Sonido Musicals presents Audio Guru, a new online music competition. The aim of the competition is to discover India's finest musical talent while simultaneously creating a platform for upcoming artists to showcase their ability. The winner will walk away with Rs one lakh worth of prizes.

To enter, individuals or bands just need to simply upload compositions and tracks that are a maximum of six minutes on the following link

Deadline for entries is 25 September 2011. Tracks will then be filtered and the top 10 compositions will be selected by a panel of renowned judges that include, Apernit Singh - India's fastest guitarist, popular music director - Ram Prasanth and Siddharth Baja, the musician who gave Bangalore its grandiose music festival - Freedom Jam.

The ten tracks will then be promoted online for popular voting and the top three compositions with the maximum number of votes will battle it out on 8 October 2011, for the chance to be titled the first Audio Guru.
