ECHO Travels To Mumbai & Bangalore With Special Sound System Show In New Delhi

20 October 2017

A one-of-a-kind club night, ECHO will travel to Mumbai and Bangalore before a very special, show on a Sunday afternoon in New Delhi. Taking place at the sprawling cluster of warehouses that make up Dhan Mill Compound, the Delhi show will have BFR Soundsystem’s hand-built Jamaican reggae sound system pulsating through the air for one of the last sound system sessions of the year.

London-based producer Vivek Sharda who has been a prominent figure in the UK dubstep scene will also be joining resident Delhi Sultanate on this tour. V.I.V.E.K’s brand of dubstep with its vast, earth-shaking basslines need to experienced live to be really understood, as anyone who has ever attended any of his performances would know.

ECHO has been bringing audiences the freshest roots dubplates and cut-throat basslines, room-shaking wubs and pure, no-nonsense dubstep. Conceptualised with the aim of pushing sound system culture to Delhi’s audio-heads, the club night outlines the evolution of bass right from the early days of dub, dancehall and reggae to the glory days of dubstep.

Every single element of ECHO is curated and nurtured with love - right from the custom picked sound system that forms its nucleus and the tunes meticulously picked by the three resident DJs (Moniker, Alter State and Delhi Sultanate).
