Call For Applications: Toto Music Award 2018

The fourteenth edition of the TOTO Music Award, run by Toto Funds the Arts (TFA), is calling for applications from young musicians and bands.
Anyone who makes music, in any genre, language and location, is welcome to submit applications. TFA tends to reward music that explores new territory in the Indian music scene in the hope that the recognition and the monetary award can help sustain it.
Winners receive a cash award of Rs 60,000. Past winners include Disco Puppet, Peter Cat Recording Co., Parvaaz, and Prateek Kuhad.
The deadline to apply is 31 August 2017.
Toto Funds the Arts is a non-profit trust set up in 2004 in memory of Angirus ‘Toto’ Vellani, who was intensely passionate about music, literature and film. It nurtures and encourages young artists in India through awards, workshops and other events. In 2018, TFA will be issuing a total of 8 awards that cover music, photography, creative writing and filmmaking.
