Listen: ‘Travelers’ By Dosti Music Project

Found Sound Nation is a Brooklyn-based artist collective and production team. They’ve just released their first worldwide album, ‘Travelers’ Dosti Music Project on their new record label Found Sound Records.
The collective curated an intensive collaborative residency in the spring of 2015 and 2016, bringing together musicians from Pakistan, India and the U.S. The result of the month-long residencies is a 12-track album which explores a wide variety of genres.
A meditative and introspective project, the genres range from Sufi-infused indie to avant-garde jazz to electronica. The result is a unique cross-cultural collaboration that you won’t hear anywhere else.
Featuring artists like Slowspin (whose video for ‘Patience’ is mesmerising), Virginia-born singer/songwriter Abakis, and multi-instrumentalist Danish Khawaja of Fat Bird, Travelers is a fantastic example of what happens with creative minds collaborate.
