Prateek Kuhad Selected As Midem Accelerator FInalist

In its three years, the Midem Artist Accelerator has become a great launching pad for emerging talents.
The 11 finalists for this years event include one of India’s fastest rising stars; singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad.
Other finalists include Parisian electronica duo Acid Arab, UK-based rapper Adian Coker, electro-pop Canadian artist Geoffroy and Ghanian rapper M.ANIFEST. All 11 will benefit from a pool of experts to direct their path in the music industry as well a mentorship from both Daddy Yankee and Wyclef Jean.
Kuhad, whose recent single and video ‘Tum Jab Paas’ was released on Saavn yesterday, has seen his career soar over the last year. With MAA receiving over 600 submissions representing 67 nationalities, Kuhad is also the only musician representing India.
The artists will also compete in a Midem online community vote, where the winners will play at Midem’s Opening Party on Tuesday 6 June. To vote for Prateek Kuhad, you can go here.
