IndiEarth XChange 2016 Reveals Details & Lineup

IndiEarth XChange is an annual trade event and arts festival dedicated to the Indian independent music, media and film sectors, which is set to take place this year on 26 and 27 November in Chennai. The XChange is an initiative of EarthSync – a world music record label and audio-visual production house.

Over the course of two days, IndiEarth will host a series of workshops, conferences, talks, film screenings and music performances by artists and professionals from around the world. We were there for the 2015 edition and had an absolutely terrific time; you can read our detailed review to know more.

Unfortunately last year, immediately after we left, Chennai came to a standstill with the devastating floods that shook the whole country. In response to this, the 2016 edition of the XChange is dedicated to “Chennai’s rich artistic heritage and resilient spirit”.

The lineup for the music program at the XChange this year includes French alt act Organic Bananas, Miss V (live) feat. Chaitanya Bhaidkar, Reunion Island’s Sauvage Sound System, Abhi Tambe, Aver and Mumbai synthpop act Aqua Dominatrix. There will also be an exclusive VIP after-party featuring Nucleya with limited capacity.

Relevant workshops on understanding artist rights, using production software like Ableton Live, sound design and many more concerning art and cinema will also be held at the venue.
