Call For Applications: Toto Music Award 2017

Toto Funds The Arts (TFA) has opened applications for its thirteenth Toto Music Award for young musicians and bands.
Set up in 2004 in memory of Angirus ‘Toto’ Vellani - "a man intensely passionate about music, literature and film”, Toto Funds The Arts aims to support and nurture young artists in India.
Contemporary music from any genre and language is welcome and as TFA points out on their blog, they’ve received entries ranging from rock, jazz, heavy metal and electronica, right up to instrumental and folk. The winning act will receive a fair bit of exposure as well as an award of Rs 60,000 to help hone their craft.
All applicants must be Indian citizens born on or after 1 January 1987. The deadline to apply is 7 October.
To enter the competition, you’ll need to submit 3 of your best tracks alongside a completed application form and 3 high resolution images. For further details about how to apply head here.
