Creative Barter: Get Free Tickets For Magnetic Fields In Exchange For Art

Magnetic Fields Festival at Alsisar Mahal in Rajasthan is months away from its 2016 edition (and just days away from announcing the first phase of their lineup).

Since its first year in 2013, Magnetic Fields has been offering a unique opportunity for creative and artistically inclined people who want to be more intimately involved with and feel like they’re a part of the festival in the form of the creative barter.

The idea is fairly straightforward – the festival will give you free tickets if you can offer an interactive experience for other festival-goers in return. So if you have a useful skill, any artistic talent and a way to get the attendees excited about what you’re doing, apply here now. The installation/act should ideally be centred around this year’s theme – navigation:

Explore the realms of space and time using the sacred knowledge of ancient cartographers, mystics and mathematicians. Navigate your journey to Magnetic Fields and through the weekend, find new friends and re-connect with old ones. Use sacred geometry to understand the physical and metaphysical space and ultimately cross borders and planes into other dimensions. – Magnetic Fields Festival

Feel free to apply if you can think of interactive experiences, installations or performances that fit in with the theme, which can be interpreted in any way you like. The options are limitless.

The free pass includes festival tickets and a spot to pitch your own tent and does not include travel, food or any other expenses.
