David August Brings An A/V Set To Mussoorie For Pravaas

After its first edition at Gwalior's Jai Vilas Palace, the multi-day travelling event Pravaas will take over Mussoorie's George Everest Hill between March 15-17. While the full lineup for the event is yet to be announced, Pravaas has revealed that it will host Italian-German DJ, producer and label head David August. Known for his lush blends of ambient, dance music and contemporary classical sounds, the 99CHANTS founder released his 4th album in 2023 entitled 'VĪS'.

Named after the Latin word for energy or force, the 13-track album has unfolded alongside associated its own "Imaginary Alphabet" (created by Moroccan artist Hiba Baddou), an interactive website, an art book and an audio-visual live show. August brings the latter with the help of visual artist Marcel Weber aka MFO to Pravaas.
