Magnetic Fields Announces 2016 Dates & Releases Video

2 June 2016

Recently listed as one of the ‘50 Best Festivals In The World’ by Time Out London, Magnetic Fields has just announced dates for its fourth edition set to take place later this year at the imposing Alsisar Mahal in Rajasthan.

The three-day music and arts festival will take place from 9-11 December, with tickets and accommodation packages available from 8 August onwards at www.magneticfields.in.

The festival has also released a short recap video to take you back to last years’ incredible, memorable event, which featured musicians like RATATAT, Shigeto, Garden City Movement, HVOB and more headline the South Stage, while the evening saw a packed Red Bull Music Academy Stage headlined by legends like DJ Koze, Objekt, Mumdance, Kutmah, Hunee, Antal and more, aside from a slew of talented homegrown artists. Days at the sandy campsite were filled with music from the Heineken Desert Oasis Disco while late nights went on with secret parties hosted by Resident Advisor, THUMP, Border Movement and more.

Apart from the music, the festival also featured interactive art installations, delicious eats, a souk, a treasure hunt and much more. You can expect all that and more, still to be revealed, at the 2016 edition of Magnetic Fields. Use the hashtag #MagFields2016 to talk about it on Facebook and Twitter.

The recap video below has been shot by ArtFoto Studios and edited by cinematographer Vikram Singh. The song featured is Caribou’s Jamelia remixed by last years’ RBMA Stage headliner DJ Koze.
