Vinayak^a Offers EP 'Neend' In His String Of Releases In 2023

Chennai-based producer and DJ Vinayak Karthikayan aka Vinayak^a has been dropping a string of releases in 2023 starting from his seminal album 'Andar Bandar' earlier this year and following with a slew of EPs. His latest comes in the form of a 4-track EP titled 'Neend', after "the much-needed reprieve that many yearn for in this fast-paced age".
Any EP dedicated to looking after oneself and finding space for self-care, 'Neend' contrasts against the groove-rich sample-laden 'Andar Bandar', the steadily beating two-parter 'Reminisce' or the second to latest 'Revise'. Having its foundations in ambient, especially on 'Forgiven', the 4-track takes off into the cinematic on the opening title track, meanders through buzzing melodies on 'Did I' or the smoke-like engulfing and dissipating arpeggio washes of 'Myth Between'.
