Berlin's Sarah Farina To Tour India As Part of Various Artists

Berlin tastemaker and selector extraordinaire Sarah Farina is the latest artist added to our Various Artists bill. The artist will be performing in Delhi, Bangalore and Pune between 13-15 May.

Various Artists is a genre defying event series that hopes to introduce to Indian audiences some of modern music’s most imaginative and original DJs and producers. Previous editions have included the likes of Flako, Slugabed, Raji Rags, Roska, Palms Trax and more, with Boiler Room programmer and Whities head Nic Tasker slated to perform in Delhi on 6 May.

Sarah Farina has forged a reputation in the underground European bass scene for her forward thinking selections and fun, uninhibited approach to her DJ sets, having played alongside some of the biggest and best names from the music scene like DJ Rashad, Gaslamp Killer, Kode9, David Rodigan, Om Unit.

The artist has also received a lot of attention in her native Berlin for her monthly nights at OHM, where she offers an alternative to the four-to the-floor techno that dominates the city, as well as for her incredible Boiler Room sets (embedded below). Sarah Farina’s unpredictable blend of UK garage, jungle, hip-hop and bass music is often referred to as “rainbowbass”.
