HVOB, Humble The Poet And Fakear Added To Lost Party 2016 Lineup

17 February 2016

Multi genre festival The Lost Party 2016 is all set to take place later this month from 26-28 February at the beautiful Saltar Lake in Maharashtra. The festival officially launched on 13 February with a riotous performance by French trip-hop duo Chinese Man.

We had announced phase 1 of their impressive lineup here (and interviewed débruit, an artist we’re very keen to see in India here), but The Lost Party is upping the ante with round two.

Austrian electronica act HVOB is heading back to the subcontinent after their India tour and performance at Magnetic Fields Festival last year. Joining them will be famed Canadian MC and spoken work artist Humble The Poet and talented young French hip-hop producer - Fakear. Also added to the international bill are German electro-swing Lyre Le Temps and Reunion Island selector Karl Hungus.

Phase 1 of the lineup was announced earlier this month and included Parisian beatmaker débruit, German live electronic act Moglebaum and Canadian funk/soul duo - The Funk Hunters. Indian acts include Karsh Kale, Frame/Frame, Big City Harmonics, Donn Bhat + Passenger Revelator, Sundogproject, Paraphoniks, The Sine Painter, Kabir Café, The Bartender, as well as DJs Bassister and The Germaphobe and many more.

Aside from the music, The Lost Party will also feature a number of activities, installations and workshops to keep you entertained. Pepsi MTV Indies, who have curated the Indian acts at the festival, will also be presenting a hand-picked showcase of movie screenings in association with IndiEarth.

You can watch the lineup video for The Lost Party, set to the track ‘Parallax Barrier’ by Spryk, who is also performing at the festival, below. Follow The Lost Party on Facebook and Twitter for updates and get your tickets to the festival here.
